What is Joomla ver 1.1.x? was created by talacrush

I've been seeing reference to Joomla 1.1.x on this site (like under Deployment Platform) and I'm confused. There is no ver. 1.1.x yet is there?

well the alpha is available and getting pretty well tidied up now ..

so maybe some community members are experimenting#

everyone who want to use the new bots to integrate with phpBB and other apploication are on the edge of their seats waiting to get their hands on a stable release now!
