Hi,

I've looked everywhere I can think of for an answer to this problem, and can't seem to find one, although I'm sure there's one somewhere.

I'm using CBJuice2 to import users into my Community Builder 1.8.1 database in Joomla 2.5.6, and have no problem with the import. However, the email message that I'm sending out via CBJuice generates a backslash before every apostrophe and quote mark. For example:


Thank you for confirming your registration! You may now access the new St. Andrew\'s Member Connection at:


The backslash appears in both the subject header and the body of the email, and given that our church's name is used several times in the email, it's an issue.

Also, is there a way to format the email to use bold face and italics? And can I personalize the email with a name? Using Dear [name] doesn't work, as I just get the name field in the body of the email, and not the user's actual name.
