I was under the impression that since groupjive enables video sharing and upload, the same would apply for individual user profile/gallery. Every search I make I end up with various paysomemoreware nothing local or explanation regarding this.

Someone enlighten me please. Thank you.

We've no video plugin. GJ has a video integration that allows users to add videos to groups via the videos URL, it does not allow upload. GJs integration also does nothing for adding videos to a users profile and is specifically self contained inside individual groups provided by GJ.

CB was never designed to be a video extension. If your purpose for using it was for that then it was being used for all the wrong reasons. There are several video extensions designed to offer great video support (URL and upload), which likely will work alongside CB wonderfully (many popular extensions integrate with CB).
