Hi,
I have disabled the panes. So the users can't see the menu and the group name.
Is it possible to show the group name at the top of the group view without showing the menu?

Yes, you'll need to edit the group_main.php template however and render the group name elsewhere in the source. There's no configuration for this however. Panes should only be disabled if you intend to render it by other means (using the module for example).
