[SOLVED] session timeout or cookies settings wrong

[SOLVED] It was a caching conflict between multiple clearing of Joomla cache and users cache.

We still have customers indicating that they are getting a "session timeout or cookies settings wrong" message even though they have cleared their browser cache and history as well as we have cleared the Joomla cache and purged. Is there anything in the subscriptions registration process that could be triggering this?
