Showing a field, conditional on a radio button selection

4 years 9 months ago #312841 by rgarderet
Hello,
I have a radio button field that shows "Domestic" or "International". If user selects international, I'd like to have a text field where they can type one or more countries.

I have CB conditional and have used it a lot to show or hide fields based on many criteria. But in searching through the tutorials, I see the possibility of having the Field/Integrations/CB Conditional/Display offer an option of "Field conditional self."

However mine does not give this option, and the CB conditional section doesn't have any tabs. It just shows the options of
- Normal CB settings
- Field Conditional show
- Field conditional hide.

Is there something I need to activate to make this happen? Or a better way to do it within the radio button field?

Thanks very much,
Remy.

The documentation is out of date. CB Conditional is always "Field conditional self" now. When selecting "Field conditional show" you're configuring the field to display on condition match and if you select "Field conditional hide" you're configuring the field to hide on condition match. CB Conditional will work fine for your radio field usage.
