I have created a user subscription plan in CB Subs.

When the user subscribes/renews the plan, I want to have an option for the users to choose to make a donation.

Is that even possible with CB Subs?

It's not possible to renew a subscription and purchase additional subscriptions at the same time. It is possible to subscribe, for the first time, to multiple plans at once though assuming both plans are not marked exclusive.

I am actually referring to have an option for the users to make some donation-for-charity (apart from the subscription/renew fee) when they subscribe/renew.

It doesn't matter the plan type (donation, subscription, or merchandise) you can't purchase another plan while renewing an existing one. If you're purchasing a plan for the first time then yes you can also donate at the same time assuming both plans are not marked exclusive.
