User lists: search keywords stored after using the search?

3 years 1 week ago #323784 by ericmuc
Hi,
The user list has some fields for searching. After using a search with some search keywords in the different search fields, all values are gone.
By this the user don't see the search keywords of the filtered user list below.

Is it possible to see the search words or better to have the search keywords stay in the search fields, to change them after the search easily?

Thanks, best regards
Eric

The search keywords are supposed to stay in the inputs. Are all fields doing this or only specific fields? You can see this working correctly on our demo site below.

Before Search:
demo.cbdemosites.com/profiles/userslist/4-members-list

After Search:
demo.cbdemosites.com/profiles/userslist/4-members-list?username=demo

You'll notice the Username input still has "demo" in it.

Hi,
Thanks, that is right, further investigation makes this result in my system:

1) Search crieteria: Simple Exact match: Only 'is' and ranges
in field group keywords in search fields remain (not in the second multi-select drop down field)

2) Search crieteria: Simple Any word match: Only 'any of' and ranges (WARNING: can be slow)
in field group keywords in search fields don't remain

Thanks, best regards
Eric

So this is only a problem for field group fields? If that's the case then that's already being investigated as per your below topic.
