Now a new problem has surfaced. From today when a user clicks the Agree checkbox and then Update, the terms and conditions date is not being updated and the user is told again that they must agree. This is for all users in all usergroups.

Since the auto action we made to save language parameters only applies to one usergroup and all has been working for several days we don't think that it is the problem. But just in case we disabled that auto action but the problem persists.

As another test, we disabled the Verify Consent item in Community Builder System plugin, but the Update button still does not update Terms of Use Last Accepted date. When Update is clicked, it says "Loading" and the tab seems to refresh, but the Last Accepted date remains unchanged and the box is again unchecked.

None of the items in profile edit are being updated with the Update button. For example, avatar photos do not upload, changing email address or password, etc. Clicking the update says processing and the associated redirect happens, but all settings remain as they were prior to trying to update them. The only thing that DOES update properly is the preferred language parameter. Changing it and then updating does in fact save the change. All other profile edit items do not save.

SOLVED. I disabled the redirect auto actions that we had created that were triggered by joomla_onUserAfterSave and onAfterUserProfileSaved. Now all profile edits are saving properly.
