Only if you use coupons otherwise, no it's not possible with automatically applied discounts without some sort of conditioning (e.g. use coupon X if field A is equal to B ). You can use the "Hinting description for possible coupon code to display below the coupon field in basket" parameter to let them know a coupon is available and also provide the code to them there if you wanted.
