Is there someway to disable tooltips windows in CB? was created by boyjahq

Is there some setting we can use to disable the sometimes giant tooltips windows from popping up all over our workspace? Ideally they would only show when we hover over the

icon, but we would gladly disable all of them if it is possible. While we understand that they are extremely useful, we find more and more that they interfere with our workflow.

You can for your own fields, but otherwise no you can't disabled them everywhere. CB 3.x will be a rewrite and we'll be redoing all the tooltips and completely removing unnecessary ones. Tooltips that are needed for completing a field will become helper text below the input while optional information will be visible only on hover of the tooltip icon in a future release.

As for configuring this for your own fields edit them within CB > Field Management then under their Parameters > Layout tab adjust "Icons Display" to control the display of icons and "Input Description" to turn off tooltips being attached to the input itself (so it'd require hover of icon for tooltip).
