Hello CB Team,

Possible bug with CB Paid Subscriptions and Joomla 4.

Issue:
Enabling the CB Paid Subs Bot plugin throws the following error message on all frontend pages:

0 Call to undefined method Joomla\CMS\Factory::getACL()

Solutions tried:
Included all user groups in the “Full access granted for” within CB Subs > Settings > Intergrations
Same error.

Tried all three options in the drop down selection for article access (Yes, Depends and No) within CB Subs > Settings > Intergrations
Same error.

Disabling the CB Paid Subs Bot plugin resolves the error but offers no control over article access depending upon subscription.

Specs:
Joomla version: 4.0.2
CB version: 2.6.2+build.2021.09.03.14.54.21.51b431743
CB Subs version: 4.5.2+build.2021.09.08.21.18.39.79d2edc53

Known issue noted below.

We don't have a workaround at this time. There's a few deprecated function calls we need to clear up still on J4. Below is another one you might see.

Both bugs above of CBSubs Content protection plugin are now fixed in latest nightly CBSubs build.

You can download CBSubs package from our downloads, or install it directly from plugins manager, install from web (hit "Refresh" button to see latest upgrades of less than 12 hours ago).
