[SOLVED] confirming users before being able to subscribe...

But the new registration after the upgrade keeps doing the same, still appears as not confirmed and not approved regardless of all configurations are set to be automatic and when entering the user profile and hitting save it takes me to a white screen.

This means 1 of 2 things. You're not using CBs registration or there is a fatal PHP error directly before CB stores the user (Joomla user is stored before CBs) and is preventing a successful registration. Please PM backend login credentials and will take a look as often Joomla system plugins can cause problems here or a buggy 3rd party CB plugin.

Have reviewed your install. The first issue is your login page was pointing to Joomlas and not CBs, you can't do this; you must use CBs login and registration.

"User - Auto Loggin After Registration" (autolog_after_registration ) is hijacking registration and causing an instant login. This is interrupting the registration process and not even letting you reach CBSubs. I've disabled this for you and confirmed registration is now working properly.

"Authentication - OpenID" (openid) is attempting to validate login as OpenID, but the plugin is not compatible with PHP 5.3 and causing fatal PHP errors. I've disabled this for you and confirmed login is now working properly.

Everything now appears to be working fine from registration, to CBSubs, to login. Please also confirm is working.
