Automate SQL Action for Expiration Dates ? was created by NHEA_webmaster
I used this query as outlined below to change the expiration date of my members.

www.joomlapolis.com/forum/88-usage/133657-subscription-period-and-australian-fiscal-year

It worked just fine, but required the members to log in and upgrade their membership plan to activate the SQL action.

Im running Joomla 1.5.25, CB 1.7.1, and CB subs 1.2.2

Question: Is there any way to automate this process so that members don't need to log in and upgrade their memberships manually?

Thanks

SQL Actions fire directly after subscription. It should change the expiration immediately after they subscribed for the first time unless they were subscribed before you added the SQL Action. In which case just manually change them within CBSubs > Subscriptions > ID column (click the id to edit).

That solution isn't really needed anymore with CBSubs 1.2.2 because you can select when your calendar year begins allowing for any sort of fiscal year you want when using the durations of "this calendar year" for example.
