Not being forced to renew

Not being forced to renew was created by PopleWebDesign
Hi All,

I am having some trouble with users logging in and expiring etc.

I would like it so that when a users subscription expires they can log in but the protected content redirects them to a renewal page or something similar. Currently they either have to re-register which is not what we want -OR- they can still access all the protected content but doesnt enforce a renew.

Can someone help me out with this?

Thanks,
Rowan

Assuming you are using CBSubs GPL 3.0 (next time please always provide version numbers with your posts) it sounds like you have configured your CBSubs settings to allow login without subscription.

You need to configure CBSubs Settings Global tab to:

Allow Free Registered Users (without subscriptions): NO

If you also have some kind of Free lifetime subscription plan then you also need to configure:

Create Subscriptions also for free lifetime plans: YES

And of course you can configure your CBSubs plans to protect the content you with against an active plan subscription.

This way when a plan expires your users will not be allowed to login and will immediately be redirected to renew.

Please study relevant sections in the CBSubs documentation.
