I've launched my Joomla site in a "test mode" and opened it to a small number of users to make sure that everything is working properly and that my server can handle the load.

I've received several reports from users that upon updating their profiles, they receive this confusing and contradictory error message:

Your settings have been saved.
This profile does not exist or is no longer available.

Their records are properly updated. I haven't been able to replicate the error message myself, as it seems to be working properly, but the users become upset. Could this happen if a large number of users hit the SQL databases at the same time? Would it be advisable to change the error message to something less dire?

I've searched the forums and the Internet and found nothing about this problem. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Surely someone else out there has had a user report this contradictory error message, or perhaps it has been noticed by a tester? How did you resolve the issue? Thanks!

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to reproduce it myself, although it has been reported by more than one user.
