Hi all!

Ok, so maybe I'm the dufus of the century, but something in CB seems confusing: can, or can I not, have the (non-CB field) email address (entered during registration) displayed on the profile?

I have the feeling it can't be shown, but the option

"Email Handling --Display Email w/ MailTo link-- NOTE: This setting only applies to the users primary email address."

seems should do just that, no? If not, what is the "primary" email address? What then is the difference between that an the

"Email Links --Yes-- Allow Email Links. NOTE: this setting only applies to custom fields of type email"

option? Someone please explain.

In user profile, you will find a tab named "message",
you can find the email in the tab.

thanks for your reply... but I must desperatly be missing something here.

I've got "Email handling" set to "Display with mailto link". So it should be showing. But then again, where should it be showing? In which Tab/Area?

OK, so now I'm suspecting something. The tab which contains the standard joomla account data had a name that was one of the _UE_ constants. I renamed that a long time ago. That tab shows when editing ones own profile, but is never shown when viewing a profile.

Could this habe something to do with that? What was the original name for that Tab (the _UE_ variable)?
