I thought this would work for me. But it didn't.

I have both the List manager (I have only one list) set to everyone and the User List in the Config set to Everyone.

And still as a public user (not logged in) i get error:

You will be redirected back in 5 seconds. If this does not work, please click here.

When I set both to Public Frontend I get the error:

There are no published user lists!

I'm stuck here. Any ideas? Thanks.

I think there is problem with "Registered" access to the menu items. When your users list is linked to a non public Itemid, then you can't see the userlist. Because you have no access to this menu item.

The ID in the link of the userlist is added automaticly or you have no ID, and this is your account. But you have no access to your account, when you doesn't logged in.

I set the Itemid to the public menu item i called "Users List" and now it works!

I read this post a couple of times before I really got what all needs to happen:

1) In Configuration >> User Profile, set "Allow Access To" to "Everybody"

2) In List Manager >> Members Lists, set "Access" to "Everybody"

3) Make sure the menu item that links to your user list is set to "Public"

Good luck!

Now, here's my problem. I don't want my userlist viewable to public but only certain profiles. I have a credits page which I want to be able to link certain profiles to but to do that I have to make the userlist public but I don't want to. Is there any way around that without using the list manager?
