Username Verfication Error

Hello,
Installed CB1.1 on Joomla! 1.5.4 with HEBREW (UTF-8 encoding for mySQL & HTML).
When trying to register, using hebrew chars, i keep getting ERROR message "_VALID_AZ09" (As i supposes it doen't recognize them). I belive the cause is cbSendUsernameCheck() on cb.core.php line 895.
I need to mention that for regular regitration it works great.
My q's is:
A. Can u think why it blocks me?
B. How & Where do i disable the verification and will it register correctly?
