how to remove "user editor" field was created by jon73
Hi

can somebody please tell me how I can disable the user editor field for standard registered clients.

Basically clients wont be allowed to make any posts and I am only using community builder for registration of clients details and nothing else, as CB allows for more field options than the standard Joomla registration.

Thanks

Yes, I too would love to know how to remove the "User editor" field from view.
No mention in the documentation that I can find.

Anyone know how?
Peter

once a user is logged in and they go to the "Edit Your Details" section, there is a field about 4 or 5 down that allows you to chose your "User Editor". This relates to WYSIWYG editor of that users choice. I want to get rid of that field as I only want my users to change their details when needed and not submit anything that needs a WYSIWYG editor.

I've come across another thread that says that you disable 'Front-End User Parameters' in Joomla Global Configuration/Site Tab

I've tried it and it works for me. But I don't know what else this might affect?
