What folders do SEF Advance use? Maybe OpenSEF and SEF Advance are tying to use the same folders? not sure....

Check for that conflict.

concerning the sef uninstall i found a post
www.open-sef.org/component/option,com_smf/Itemid,168/topic,1961.0

that led to some legacy data left in the db tables, so i deleted, and am waiting to have my host delete the last existance of the com_sef dir

well

after a complete wipe of open sef, including db my site is up.

the uninstall did not remove the db table data and caused errors?

i still don't know what triggered these chain of events.

be in touch

I just did a new installation of Joomla 1.0.10 and Community Builder 1.0 RC 1.

The user registration works; however, when the newly registered user tries to log-in a plain error page is displayed saying "You are not authorized to view this page."

It is not even a Joomla error page.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

CB is the only component installed so far.
