I've searched here and Joomla.org but am not coming up with any threads that really answer the question.

I have several sites which use CB 1.1. I want the basic user data, login related specifically, synced routinely between the various sites.

Is there a generally accepted best practice for this?

There is a family of multisite components that should do the job.
