CB 1.0 Stable Logout 404? was created by ericfoster3
Anyone having this problem?

I installed CB 1.0 stable. When I logout, I get 404 error. The URL looks like this:

www.mysite.com// (notice the double slash)

To fix this, I have to change the CBlogin module settings. I set the logout URL field to: "../index.php"

and it works ok now....

Somewhere along the way the login module is inserting another slash.

And you... you think that you can post a bug if someone else went before you ? WRONG :)

Same story.. make sure you have the correct setting in your joomla config..

I have index.php as logout redirect myself..

$mosConfig_live_site = 'www.djtrail.nl';

NOT
$mosConfig_live_site = 'www.djtrail.nl/';

Like the joomla manual says :)

Trail,

My configuration.php file has this:
$mosConfig_live_site = 'www.mydomain.com';

Am I looking in the wrong place?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hmm no ur looking in the correct place .. thats one VERY important setting and you got it right..

So what happens if you just enter index.php as logout redirection url ? Did you have nothing before or did you already have index.php there ?

I guess im lost to what else your problem could be :(

When "index.php" is in there it sends me to www.mydomain.com// (404) upon logout

When I put "../index.php" it sends me to www.mydomain.com/ with no error

Are you using the latest cblogin? The one shipped with CB 1.0 stable. The shipped one should have date 2006-05-10 visible in install->module

It looks like you are using another login module.

Few other questions which might help us.
Which version of jooma / mambo are you using?
Do you use SEO or SEF? If so which are you using?
Does the problem persist with SEO off?
By default the logout redirect should read "index.php"
Why did you put "../"in front of "index.php"
