As posted in another thread, it's a memory issue.
I added <? ini_set("memory_limit", "24M"); ?> to the top of my index.php and it's fixed. You may only need 16M, but I needed more. Must have too many memory hungry modules on my site

Seems I made a mistake. This didn't fix it for me. It seemed to work once for me, but hasn't worked since.

Maybe I was dreaming...

Back to the drawing board...
