Take a look at the right side column. "User Graphic Gallery"

I cannot get it to stop taking up all that space, it is a waste of room in the column, and just takes up more room than necessary. Any ideas?

I suggest using Firebug (with firefox) or something which can pin down what CSS element you need to edit to fix that.

Ok after some research the mod_cbgallery.php stores what you put in the configuration of the module:

By shrinking down the definition of the height of the "Gallery Item Height" in the Module Manager, it does have an effect on the overall item height, and make the image smaller. However you still have an additional length below the picture.
