I downloaded, and installed, the latest version yesterday and I have been transported back to before my birth. Not a bad option, to be given the chance to relive ones life, but maybe a bit confusing when the thing tells me the group was founded in 1969

It isn't the first time I have come across this whilst playing around with Joomla! modules and components, and I would be grateful if someone could tell me how to fix it.

Hi,
When you say "latest version", what revision do you mean? Revision 93 from groupjive.org? And are you sure that you set the date format to a correct value? We did have some problems with the dates, but that bug was supposedly fixed a couple of months ago.

please use mysql dateformat: i.e. '%Y-%m-%d'

you said your group was created in 1969 - that makes me a little bit confusing, cause it should be at least 1.jan.1970..
