Groups not showing at frontend was created by AlvynK
I installed goupjive 1.2 and joomla 1.5

When user try to access to groups at the frontend, groups did not show up but instead the following message appeared:
[code:1] Please review this message :

Error! Access to this Group
is not available right now!
Maybe you are not a member of the Group?
... or maybe the Group needs activation by the Admin?

Users who have just applied for a Group membership will receive this error
until the Moderator responds to your request.

Email Group Manager Email Group Manager [/code:1]

Is there anything wrong on my installtion or configuration?

I had been searching for days but find no solution to that. I did find quite a number of website having the same problems though.

After waited for quite a while still nobody replying to my problem, could it be not solution to it at this point of time?

or I am the only one with this unfortunate problem?

weird things is some users were able to create new group and access to view groups

Guess I got to switch to other community script since my users were really giving me like 30 emails a day...... another late nights struggle again...

Thanks for the reply. I really need this.

Ok, the categories which was preloaded during installation were alright. New categories created but the funny part is, some were shown under "Group mgr" tab when creating group, some were not.

I tried creating from frontend, some users able to create new group, some not.

I suspect it was due to I installed and uninstalled couple of times which caused the data connection to be screwed up.

I consulted a friend who is in the IT field, he said the message shown that, the application working fine but I could be the data connection or synchronization were messed up.

I installed Mamblog as well, but users were not able to post blog.

The article, forum and other applications work well too.

(Sorry for the unorganized format of my layout, I really do not know how to list them in kinda related sequence)

I am not familiar with sql. so even I check I wonn't be able to see the mistake.

I am really sorry for the mess that I have to bother you with.

Please be patient with me, thanks.

I am really not an expert with GroupJive.

I suggest that you post on their forums for assistance.
