Ok, I read about a 100 messages on the subject about after installing CB you can no logger login. It happened to me. But after reading on a thread somewhere, it got me thinking what the problem was.

When setting up your menus do not set your new menu "CB Details" as registered user. You would think that this is required as you are making a new menu item under the "user menu" category.

Not sure if this is correct but now I'm back in business and get off the forum to do some real work.

Peace!

Thanks for this valuable feedback, we will re-read the readme and make it more precise for this item(id)...

Now points 8) and 9) of README.txt for next release will read as follows:

[code:1]
8) Add a new user menu item for the comprofiler component
(this will be the users profile page).
For this, go to menu -> user menu, click New, select component,
then Community Builder (com_comprofiler), give a name and save.
NOTE: if you plan profiles to be viewable publically for guests, you
will need to set this menu item to public (and configure public
profile views in cb configuration). As you don't want this
menu item to appear publically, you can put it in the user menu
or another menu with Registered access level.
9) Add a new user menu item as a Link-URL and point it to
index.php?option=com_comprofiler&task=usersList
(this will be the searchable users list).
NOTE: if you want the list to be accessible publically, make this
menu entry public (and make also public the one under point 8) )
NOTE: if you make the menu being the first of the main menu it will
become the site's homepage.
[/code:1]

Is this complete and clear :) ?

EDIT: Please disregard the color markup
