I want to install a plugin for Community Builder 1.1 (my site runs on Joomla 1.5.8 with Legacy Mode activated) and this is impossible.
I have tried to CHMOD to 777 components / com_comprofiler / plugins / users on but nothing done

A question : I read the process to upgrade and I'm affraid to forget something so could I desinsatll all my previous release and make a new install without create any conflict in the Joomla Tables ?
Because it's a young installation (less than 1 week) and my users didn't do a lot of thing in their profile...

Just desisntall the comprofiler component ?
Erase and delete the CB Tables (which ?)
...
I dont' want to make a big mistake on tables
