An IE 7 browser user on our site is having trouble with the connection message box. It is sowing up on the extreme left, and is only half visible. How can this be corrected?

I am having the same problem as this user. I see no one posted anything in this thread, has anyone else had similar problems?

If so, any ideas on how to fix it?

Same thing here.
As I have developed my site, I as most doing this stuff, use Firefox due to the add-ons strength etc.
So, faults that may pop up in Explorer, I didn't even think of.
Say what you want, but I have never had trouble with Explorer, and it doesn't suck up memory like Firefox either.
Anyway, that discussion aside, the other day someone asked me why they can't get the Connections (Friends) to work...? I thought, geez, this is an idiot...
Then checked in IE7 to see for myself.
Wow, there was no popup window with message abilities like in the Firefox!
It was a white field saying "False".

I have tried finding a solution here somewhere, but seems to be not available, or even known.
Anyone?

To all 3 posters:

Please try with default Joomla template.

If things work ok with this template then ask your template provider to help you.

Yes, sound advice, with the test of the default template! That points out pretty clearly that the problem was sitting in the template.

So I changed template, and problem solved.

For general info, the template I was using was Solar Flare, or something like that.
Supercool template, but sadly a bit buggy.

The first answer in this thread seems to point out clearly where the trouble resides.

CB seems so far to be pretty good and solid where such issues are concerned.
This kind of stuff seems at least to me, to be problems in the site template.

I have tested now huge amounts of templates, and there are stacks of bugs out there.
So a good piece of advice is to try testing with the default template first.

From that point, then remember that it is super stupid to stack in fancy MooTool stuff for fun, when it may be required for something serious.
Getting Moo to work with more than one function at a time is not an automatic process.

Well, correct me if I am wrong, but this is the way I fixed my stuff.
