Back when we were still on CB 1.0.2, I got involved in a thread ( here ) with Beat, discussing the setup of SSL logins for CB. He got all of my information, & we actually went back & forth testing, but never came to a resolution (there is tons of information in the thread).

Well, we've since successfully updated to J! 1.0.15 & CB 1.1, & I've finally gotten a chance to re-visit this issue - the problem still exists. I'm still getting the same pop-up & subsequent redirect.

My method is the following:
  1. set the CB login module to "use https for posting login then same"
  2. change configuration.php according to these instructions
  3. attempt login
The URL will then change to an https URL, but the pop-up from the original thread & resulting behavior is still there.

I shouldn't be having these same issues now, should I? I thought that this conflict had been resolved after J! .12 was released?

Forgot to mention that my server environment has been updated as well:

Apache/2.2.6 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.2.6 DAV/2 PHP/5.2.6 mod_jk/1.2.25 mod_perl/2.0.3 Perl/v5.8.8
MySQL 5.1.20-beta-log
PHP 5.2.6
Solaris 10
