CB Install Error

CB Install Error was created by daebat
We had somebody working on our website contracted out into another state. He was messing with some things and somehow he removed CB from the XML file which publishes it to the backend for us to edit. Functionally the component was working as we were still able to log into the CB login module. We decided the best thing to do was to remove the components files and do a re-install with 1.1 since we were having a few issues anyway. When I re-installed CB the front end of the site went down and projected this error

Warning:

filer/library/language/language.front.php) [function.require-once]:

I decided "ok, maybe i should install the 1.2 rc 4." so I went to do that and it just times out in the install phase. What should I do?

I did what the readme file said:

- Maximum Execution time reached:
On very slow servers, IF installation timeouts (not seen yet): you
can fix that as follows: Open file:
- joomla 1.0/mambo: administrator/index2.php
- joomla 1.5: administrator/index.php
and add line
set_time_limit( 240 );
right after the <? line, remove directories components/com_comprofiler
and administrator/components/com_comprofiler and re-install.

It still timed out.
