Captcha 2.0 and Captcha 1.0

Captcha 2.0 and Captcha 1.0 was created by jjcostello
I am using Joomla 1.5 (stable) and CB 1.1.0.

On installing Captcha 2.0, I failed to get security image to show.

I never had installed Captcha 1.0, and so I decided to install it. The image appeared immediately.

Why is this happening?

I have tried to find my way through all the threads, but nothing seemed to work for Captcha 2.0

Comments appreciated.

Thanks.

John

is your global parameter system session value set to none?

At present the System Settings (Enable Web Services) is set to Yes.

Should it be set to No?

Thanks.

no, i mean the sessions parameter - it should not be set to database sessions.

It works, having done as you instructed.

The security image now shows both at the backend and front end.

However, there appears to be a price. The Template Chooser then failed to work.

So I went back and changed the Sessions Handler back to Database. Then surprise. The Template Chooser works again and the Security image is still showing in Captcha 2.0.

So now if it goes wrong again, I know where to look and what to do.

Thanks.
