Hi,

I have a menu item that is pointed to a CB category list, with the contact's position column enabled. When I browse to the page, the position heading is displayed as "#" instead of "Position".

Is there any way to change this heading?

See attached pic for example. See the headings? Name, #, Email.

The # should be Position.

I am having this same problem with the position column in CB Contacts. I have read the manual and still do not understand your answer. I'm guessing it has to do with:
"You can use underscore values as field titles. This will
cause the CB code to look into the active language file to find the value of
this string. For example _UE_CONTACT_INFO_HEADER is set as the
default value of the Contact Info title field. With this method you can
partially have multiple language support using Joomlafish/Mamblefish."

But we are not trying to define a new field. We are trying to fix a broken definition of the Position field.

Can you please point us to a specific part of the manual? Thanks!

Beat,

The problem is in line 77 of the components/com_cbcontact/cbcontact.php file. It says:
[code:1]'_CONTACT_HEADER_POS' => 'Num',[/code:1]

It should say:
[code:1]'_CONTACT_HEADER_POS' => 'Position',[/code:1]
