Just to chime in, Beat... I'm having the same issue.

When I try to edit a user's profile in the back end and click 'Save', a box comes up that says, "The page at <site name> says" and nothing else.

The only way out of the screen is to cancel.

I, too, am running PHP 5. I had the system set up with CB 1.1. I did follow the instructions in the README, but since I had fields and such already set up, I'm wondering if that's the problem.

Which Joomla/Mambo version ?

EDIT: wrong thread indication.

EDIT:

- do a cb tools -> database check. Maybe something wrong in there.

I checked the problem:

it was due to a typo in profileGallery on line 1607:

[code:1] $user->cb_pglasupdate = $cb_pglastupdate;
[/code:1]
should have been:

[code:1] $user->cb_pglastupdate = $cb_pglastupdate;
[/code:1]


I fixed that and now your save works.

This was a known problem of profileGallery 1.0 RC2....

Fixed since then....

So no CB 1.2 RC issue here.
