problem after upgrading to 1.2

I can not save user profiles in back end. Everything seems to be fine in front end. I can edit member profiles as admin.

I get the attached error which as you can see doesn't help much.

I've been at this for hours and normally I can noodle through most every problem. This ones got me stumped.

Turned SEO on and off, same with cache, turned all fields to not required, Run the Database check.

Data base check turned up an issue where new delimiter fields were not creating associated columns in comprofiler. Deleted the offending delimiter fields for now.

Ideas?

Yes I read that and as mentioned, deleted the offending delimiter fields until after I figured out what was preventing back end save of edited profiles.

The problem with the delimiter fields doesn't quite fit any way.

Two, possibly all three of the three delimiter fields were created post upgrade to PHP5 last year.

Still that's not my big problem at the moment. We have also had reports that some users are having save issues on the front end but those can not be recreated.

I don't know that this matters, as it seems rather minor..

But we were having this issue until we upgraded to PHP 5.2.6. I am not positive what version we were running before, though I'm fairly certain it was a 5.x, As it's corrected itself now, though, I was going on the assumption that we'd had some sort of issue with installation of CB1.2 or with a prior PHP upgrade.

Thanks. I'd sure hate to think a point upgrade of PHP would make a difference. I'm getting to the point that I might try anything. :pinch:

www.spaclique.com/component/option,com_comprofiler/Itemid,394/

More information:

The problem also exists for ie6 users in the from end. The get a can not open page error.

When editing a user in the back end firebug reports

this.setDefaultStatus is not a function
www.spaclique.com/components/com_comprofiler/js/cb12.pack.js/eval/3DYR8yd%2Bmb25QTy058Fe3Q%3D%3D
Line 1

So maybe cb12.pack.js conflicts with something the 1.1 version didn't?

The joomla error log is clean as is the CB db check.

Now that this is a problem for users and not just admin I have to figure this out quick. Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Brian
