I need to be able to do a login with the username and password in a custom membership management system using mysql and php. I need to first verify that the membership is paid up to date and use the user name and password in the member record. Registration is not a problem, because we control all of that within the membership system.

Would it be easier to do a monthly update synchronization from the Membership member record to CB. I looked at doing that in Mambo/Joomla itself, complete nightmare This customer is a non-profit with about 14,000+ retiree's as members.

Can I do this with CB?
