Good point, this connections plugin parameter are still in there, but irrelevant now. Also in the status tab, the text needs an update.

We will remove these old settings for 1.2 stable.

New method in CB 1.2 RC 2:

You now have a new field "Connections" in the fields list in backend. It's originally after upgrade in the user status tab, but you can move it to another tab, or remove from the profile, or if you leave it on profile, even use it in users-lists !

To remove, just set to "not on profile" as any other normal CB field.

This issue has been addressed and fixed in Community Builder 1.2 RC 3, like all other known issues, and is available now for a last short rounds of live site testings, before CB 1.2 Stable release.
