I notice that the comprofiler files are nobody, whereas other components are our user name.

I'll change the comprofiler files and test it.

Hi everyone, I have the same problem and I checked the ownership of my files. Every thing seems to be ok.

Also the email checker in the background is not a good idea and it will be better to put an option for that.

Not Authorized when trying to edit ad users from back end.

Hello,
No solution yet. We're in the process of upgrading to Joomla 1.5, so I hope that's the fix.

I've done all the steps suggested in the Forum, but still get the "not authorized" message.

I have to use the Joomla User Manager to enable a new account, then synchronize through Components --> Community Builder --> Synchronize Users.
