Once I've created a date field, I cannot delete the field. In the field manager if I select the field and select delete it acts like it did it, but when I go back into the field list the field is still there. Text fields deleted fine on the exact same installation of CB RC2.

u can delete on sql database, select tree "jos_comprofiler_fields", next go browse and select the field u want to delete and click drop (X). it is better always u make a backup from your database before
