I am using CB-fields (at first I falsely assumed my "phone"-field was a Joomla field). I guess Profile Update Logger don't notice a value change if I have a zero-value of for example "00" and then change it to "000". But it will not be an issue in production.

Is the CB field for phone number a text field or an integer field?

I'm not using an ajax plugin.

A change from "1000000" to "00000" is logged (see below). I then change it again to 6 zeros "000000". No notification is sent via e-mail and the change isn't logged on the users tab "Update Log".


Modification logged
Fieldname: cb_phone
Old value: 1000000
New value: 00000

Was able to replicate and opened a bug ticket here:
