Can not view CB plugins or Tabs

OK I see what you mean. Even though they show as plugins in CB plugin list and instaled I still need to install them for Joomla itself before it will work. Is this correct?
This is correct.
Plugins are meant to help integrate other components into the CB component.
So for the forum plugin to work. You need to install a forum component such as Fireboard.
