Despite the fact that in Field Manager I have set username to have 'show on profile' set to 'no', on the registration form it always shows the icon that it will be visible to other users.

Other fields in Field Manager respect this setting correctly.

Ok, I understand the reasoning for this. In my case though username is never displayed or used publicly: I don't provide the ability to directly link to a profile. Hence I've commented the line (in cb_core.php) where this is unconditionally set.

My issue with this pertains to the profile page showing the username (which I want)
but then showing it again in the contact info tab (which I don't want)

I'd like to keep the profile page title as the username, but remove the redundant username shown in the contact info tab.

I cannot seem to unpublish the contact info tab or hide the redundant username.
