I recently have problem with iframe virus on my website. I've changed all index.html files and checked index.php files. So everything looks correct, everything but...
I still have the virus on the cb registration page and on the profile page. And i checked many times, no way to find the virus... do u have an idea of where i can find them?

Thanks a lot

Can you give anymore information than that?
That's all pretty vague, which is probably why this thread has 0 responses so far.

In fact, i had an iframe virus on my website. And i've changed as i said before all the index.html and index.php which were infected.
But i still have the problem on the registration page. All i need right now is to know which file determine this page and i will try to find the solution by myself.

So can u tell me which files composed the registration page?

Thanks for all

Your site is corrupted and probably still has the vulnerability which got used, and maybe even an installed backdoor...

See this:
docs.joomla.org/Category/Security_Checklist

(replace the / between Category and Securty_Checklist with a : )

You need to give special attention to chapter 6: site recovery.

Getting hacked means LOTS of work to cleanup unfortunately, not just replacing the modified file.

Wishing you a as not-painfull as possible recovery.

ok i'll read that carefully. But still have one question: isn't it possible to copy and paste community builder to clean up this problem? by sending files by ftp for example?

The problem i have is that my site run under php4.x and i noticed that the new versions of community builder are built for php 5.x

any kind of solution?

Thanks a lot
