HTML Emails

HTML Emails was created by msquared70
I know it wasn't possible in CB 1.1 but is it any easier to have html registration emails in CB 1.2?

I searched the forums but couldn't find a resolution.

I understand the spam issue...

Does anyone know how to accomplish this?

Thanks

My client would also like to have a basic html email as the welcome email.

Can anyone advise how to change the email from text to html?

Thanks in advance,
Rebecca

I believe you can replace the text with any html to accomplish this.

BTW, it's highly recommended to upgrade to CB 1.2 Stable.

I have pasted HTML into the email but when the email comes through it is sent as plain text and the HTML is shown as text.

I assumed that this would be standard feature of regsitraion to allow HTML emails, is there a setting somewhere that controls the email type?

I am using version 1.2

It is not a feature of 1.2 stable. The registration description top/bottom is in html but not the emails.

There has been discussion as to why this field is not in html. The main reason is that it can increase your email spam score.

However, it would be nice as an option for those who want to use html.

I understnad the SPAM implications but my client insists that they want HTML. Do you know where this is generated and maybe i can change the source code?
