The Front page works just fine for public or for registered or author.

Any one with Group privileges above author, when you login and the page reloads it loads everything twice.

Ok I believe that I have found the problem. Although I unpublished them from the Front Page Manager or marked them as not to be published from the Front Page Manager, they were still marked as being published on the front page in the Content>Articles.

Once I went through the content> Articles and removed them from the front page they didn't show up anymore. This is something that only happened since installing CB.
