Question about CB Query Field (5.0.4) was created by ontarget
Hi I have a db table with 3 columns
Col1 = id
Col2 = regNumber
Col3 = schoolName
I wish to have a CB registration form containing amongst others 2 fields:
Registration Number cb_regnumber
School Name cb_schoolname
If the user enters a Registration Number it should validate against "regNumber"
if the match is true then the School Name field is autopopulated with the value of "schoolName"
Select schoolName FROM table WHERE regNumber = [query]
return [query]
Is this possible with CB Query Field (5.0.4)? Please let me know asap for a quick purchase.

However, the query field isn't going to update its value dynamically when you change your number field. For that you need CB Core Fields Ajax and its Update On functionality, which basically refreshes a field when another field changes its value.

Yes, the query validation can query against your custom database to validate a fields value against the columns of your table. Using CB Query Field you can query for the name based off the number.Is this possible with CB Query Field (5.0.4)? Please let me know asap for a quick purchase.
