Isn't the uninstall / install order important? could you give us more detailed info;

do we uninstall all plugins first then uninstall cbsubs, or uninstall cb subs main then cbsubscbfield etc.

should we reverse the install order?

Thanks

Agreed .. more detail on uninstall/reinstall would be helpful before taking the plunge on a live site.

beat - when you say "if you are a pro at overwriting..." are you saying we could just upload all new files via ftp rather than use joomla uninstall/install?

And as one of the ones who will be greatly helped by this upgrade, I personally THANK YOU for the amazing speed at which this was all dealt with! You guys are terrific!

Regarding upgrade instructions: Sorry, it was so straight-forward not special, that we ommitted it.

Here the details:

EDIT: ADDED:

Upgrade process is easy and smooth: uninstall CBSubs 1.0.x, re-install Cbsubs 1.0.2 and all previously installed integration plugins. Then uninstall/reinstall cbpaidsubsbot 1.0.2 and CBSubs 1.0.2 module. All settings and license are kept, except for CBSubs module.

There are no database changes, so if you are pro at files overwriting, it works too.

We will post here changes-list soon.

here in more details:

1) uninstall CBSubs 1.0.x main plugin
2) install Cbsubs 1.0.2 main plugin
3) install all previously installed integration plugins (in 1.0.2 version, no need to uninstall the previous ones).

If you installed cbpaidsubsbot:
4) Then uninstall cbpaidsubsbot 1.0.x
5) reinstall cbpaidsubsbot 1.0.2

If you installed CBSubs module:
6) Write down parameters of your CBSubs 1.0.x module
6) Then uninstall CBSubs 1.0.x module
7) reinstall CBSubs 1.0.2 module
8) re-configure parameters of CBSubs 1.0.2 module.

We will put that in the README file for next release.

Updating first post for now.

Hi Beat,

any chance the combo list of plans and number of sites (similar to what you have when buying CBSubs) will make it to 1.1 ?

Thanks
Talal.

It could make it into 1.1, no guarantees yet.

Hi,

Thanks for the upgrade!

Are the language files affected in any way? Should they also be updated?

Best regards,

C

Yes, please compare and update. Some strings were missing.

Backend language file should come for or before 1.1.

Yes, all your CBSubs settings, plans, subscriptions, integration settings: nothing will go away during upgrade :)

CBSubs module parameters are those in the backend.

Btw CBSubs module 1.0.2 now supports copying it to multiple positions, each with its own settings.
