Hi,
First of all allow me to congratulate you on a beautiful product, that improves Joomla in so many ways.
Now for my problem....
I need the confirmation email to contain the registered users password.
In a previous answer to "elton" in "CB 1.0 RC2 Discussions - Bugs", subject "Password in the email"
(link to Password in the email)
you stated that this feature would be implemented in the upcoming 1.0 Stable.
I have now installed the newest version, but I still only get the email and username in the confirmation email that I receive.
Did you forget, or am I looking for love in all the wrong places????

In the dutch and english language file you will see the following:
Those are the fields which you can use in your CB configuration for the register e-mails.
When you just put in an E-mail
Your password is: [PASSWORD]
Then [PASSWORD] will be replaced with the users password Best Regards Machiel

Hi,
Thanks that worked.
But it only seems to work in the first mail (confirmation of email).
Is there no way to make it work in the welcome mail?
In the second mail (welcome mail) the [PASSWORD] text isn't replaced by the actual password.
PS:Could the reason I don't have the new fields, be that I have the old translation? (Danish) Joomla 1.0.8 CB 1.0 Stable

No has nothing to do with the language file. The language file shows only which fields you can use. If it's not stated in your language file it will work allthough. But in the 2nd mail it won't work because after registration the password file will be inmediately deleted for security reasons. The password is saved as MD5(if I'm right) and that can't be decoded. So only in first mail it works. Best Regards Machiel
