CB 1.1 truly works on Joomla 1.5 RC 1 (and hopefully current svn too) with legacy mode ON.
That is not an issue, as its impact on performance is way less (10% slower with legacy on) than running joomla 1.5 instead of joomla 1.0 (1.5 beta 2 up to 60% slower than 1.0), according to the joomla performance testing
Legacy ON means simply that you can run a good part of Joomla 1.0 extensions on Joomla 1.5 alongside and same time as Joomla 1.5-specific extensions.

It's planed once joomla 1.5 is stable.
It's still a to much moving target in terms of API.
The "legacy mode" doesn't stop you from runing also 1.5 native at same time, and preformance difference is really neglectible.

It would at least be nice to have an updated code that fully uses CSS capabilities instead of displaying the login form within a table without any classes specified.
Maybe there is an interim solution?

With Joomla 1.5 I can create a full tabless design. If you create a 1.5 native version I can do same with CB. Now I must Hack the core file. It's very annoying.
